They set up The Big Roast for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in 2014 as a family; Stephen, Kirsty, Liam (9) & Grace (8).
How did it all come about?
One day, when 4 year old Grace was enjoying an ice cream with her brother Liam, their Mum Kirsty rummaged through her bag for their capsules (they need to take medication every time they eat). As Grace was handed her capsules she said, “We need capsules with our ice cream because me and Liam, we have 65 Roasters, don’t we Mum?” And so Cystic Fibrosis was renamed for the Bowness family.
Let’s give Liam and Grace their 65 Roasters – could you host a roast?
